Head Coach: Pee Wee AA
Born In Tarzana ,Ca, Coach Justin started playing hockey at 4 years old early in 1989 after Wayne Gretzky was traded to LA. The Kings built a practice facility 5 miles from his house in North Hills, Ca and hockey started to boom throughout the community.
Coach Justin Played youth hockey for the West Valley Wolves before
moving to Valencia and becoming a part of the Inaugural Valencia Express team in 2000/2001 on the Midget team. After Spending 2 Seasons playing for the Express Midget AA team in 2002 Justin decided to leave home and pursue his hockey dream as a kid from CA.
Justin played one season in the BCHL for the Williams Lake Timberwolves
team. He also spent some time that season with their Affiliate team the Comox Valley Glacier Kings in the VIJHL. After spending one season in Canada, Justin Decided to try something new and went to play for the Helena Bighorns of the then AWHL (now NAHL). Due to an Injury Justin came home early in the 2003/2004 season to rehab. This is when Justin Decided to start Coaching for the Valencia Express youth program. Justin Finished his Junior career in 2005 after playing two Seasons for the Valencia Vipers of the WSHL where he served as Captain for both seasons and also was named to the All Star team. Justin Finished his playing career for College of the canyons ACHA hockey team where they Lost in the regional tournament both years.
Justin’s coaching career starting in 2003 for the Valencia organization. He has coached at every level of the program. From head coach of the Junior A team to running the mite program, Justin has enjoyed being a part of development at every level.
Justin has worked with NHL, NCAA, Junior A and local youth players alike. With the same focus in mind, the continuation of development.
Justin and his family have been a part of Hockey in southern Ca, since 1989.
Justin strives to be a positive influence on youth hockey players where he believes that skill development, hockey IQ and most importantly good sportsmanship are key factors in developing not only great players/ personalities on the Ice but off the ice as well.
With Ca hockey being recognized at the national level, Justin’s goal is to
develop players and move them on to the next level. With 17 years of building relationships in the hockey world, Justin has become a key source of helping young athletes continue their hockey dreams after youth hockey ends.
